TSMC Earnings Are Out: Bring Your TSM Shares to Bitget as rTokens
TSMC holds its third-quarter 2026 earnings conference at 14:00 Taiwan time on Thursday, 15 October 2026. In New York that is 2:00 AM ET, while the NYSE, where TSM's American depositary shares trade, is closed. If your TSM shares sit at a traditional broker, how soon you can react depends on that broker's trading hours. With rToken Transfer, you can move TSM and other US stocks to Bitget without selling them, and enjoy better capital efficiency that comes with rToken. Each share arrives in your spot account as an rToken. You trade it in USDT from the same balance as your crypto, and rTSM is tradable 24/7.
Why trading hours matter around a TSMC report
A report that lands in the Asian afternoon reaches US investors overnight. On Bitget, your rTSM order works in 2 ways, depending on the hour:
● During US market sessions, covering pre-market, regular hours, after-hours, and overnight, your order routes through brokers to the NASDAQ and NYSE order books. The price you pay is the stock price.
● Outside those sessions, including weekends, we provide liquidity in-exchange. This way, you will be able to trade on an event before many others can.
For veteran traders with deeper knowledge, the TSM stock perp also runs 24/7 and settles in USDT. You can long or short it based on your judgement without having to hold a single share of the underlying.

How to transfer your TSM shares to Bitget
The transfer uses Free of Payment (FOP), a standard method for moving securities between brokers. Your stocks will be transferred from your broker to Bitget and later be locked up to mint rTokens.

1. Get your transfer instructions from Bitget, then start an FOP transfer out at your current broker.
2. Your shares move to Bitget's designated omnibus account at Alpaca Securities, a FINRA-registered US broker.
3. When the shares arrive and are processed, our In-Kind Tokenization Network (ITN) mints the matching rTokens automatically.
4. The rTokens are credited to your Bitget spot account, ready to trade.

At Bitget, more than 3,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs are supported, so you can move TSM and the rest of your portfolio in one transfer.
Say your broker account holds 25 TSM shares and 10.5 shares of Nvidia. After the transfer, 25 rTSM and 10 rNVDA will arrive in your spot account. The 0.5 Nvidia share stays at your broker.
Transferring in costs 0 USD on our side, though your current broker may charge its own outgoing fee.
What trading costs once your shares are rTokens
Unlike many other brokers who sets a minimum fee or per-share trading fee, Bitget rToken charges trading fees based on the volume traded for stocks that cost over $5 per share, and on a per-share basis for stocks costing fewer than $5. There is no minimum fee.
Currently, TSM is trading at around $420. If you hold 3 shares of TSM, then your trading cost comparing to the other fee models will be:
| Order | Order value | Bitget rToken (0.05%) | Per-share broker, 0.005 USD per share plus 1.99 USD per order |
| 5 TSM | 2200 USD | 1.1 USDT | 2.015 USD |
When you're trading smaller order sizes, every cent counts. This is exactly where Bitget's no-minimum-fee model shines, as it will significantly reduce your trading cost. Large orders in low-priced stocks favor rTokens again. Buying 5,000 shares at 1 USD costs 17.50 USDT on Bitget, while at 0.005 USD per share, that will cost you 25 USD even before minimum fees and per-order fees.
Put your holdings to work after the report
Once credited, rTSM can also back other trades without being sold. In a Unified Trading Account (UTA) in Advanced Mode, eligible rTokens count toward your margin among more than 370 margin assets, at collateral ratios of up to 95% depending on the asset and how much you hold.
Say your rTSM holdings are worth 10,000 USDT. At an 80% ratio, they add 8,000 USDT of collateral to a futures position while you keep the TSMC exposure. The cost is that one equity figure now carries both positions. If rTSM falls after the report while your futures trade loses, your equity takes both hits, and a cross-margin position under UTA has no single fixed liquidation price.
If you prefer to build a position over time, Spot Auto-Invest buys rTokens on a schedule you set. To raise USDT against your holdings instead of trading on margin, see our guide to unlocking liquidity from tokenized stocks without selling.

What changes when TSM becomes rTSM
Each rToken is issued by Reality and backed 1:1 by the real share. Weigh what you keep and what you give up before you move a position:
| Right | TSM at your broker | rTSM on Bitget |
| Ownership | Shares registered in your brokerage account | A token backed 1:1 by shares held in custody |
| Voting rights | Yes | No |
| Cash dividends | Paid in USD after withholding tax | Paid in USDT after US withholding tax |
| Splits | Handled by your broker | Balance and price adjusted automatically |
| Trading hours | Your broker's sessions | US sessions routed to NASDAQ and NYSE, plus 24/7 in-exchange |
| Other utilities | None | Can be used as margin in a UTA |
Once your shares land, you can trade rTSM and other rTokens from the same USDT balance as your crypto, or take a view on TSMC in either direction with the TSM stock perp, where leverage can liquidate your position. We write Academy articles to explain how the platform works, not to give investment advice.
An rToken can also fall as far as the underlying stock does, and using one as margin adds a liquidation risk the spot holding does not carry. rToken Transfer and rToken availability vary by region.
