According to Zhihui Finance APP, Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A.US, BRK.B.US) announced on Friday that 96-year-old Warren Buffett will immediately step down as chairman and take on the role of honorary chairman. His son, Howard G. Buffett, will succeed him as chairman. With this, the legendary investment group in American business history has completed its final round of power transition. Buffett's more than half-century tenure as chairman since 1970 has come to an end, while the CEO position had previously been handed over to Greg Abel.
