The Brazilian president has signed the cryptocurrency tax bill
Brazilian President Luis Inácio Lula da Silva signed Law No. 14,754 on December 12th, which stipulates that Brazilian citizens must pay a 15% profit tax on their cryptocurrency income. This law will come into effect on January 1st, 2024.
