Beam CEO: The spot Bitcoin ETF has deviated from the original ideals of cryptocurrency

In an interview, Andy Bromberg, CEO of encrypted wallet developer Beam, said that he believes the spot Bitcoin ETF has deviated from the original ideals of cryptocurrency, namely self-custody and wealth autonomy. Bromberg stated that while ETFs are a gateway product for new crypto adopters, he would prefer users to understand the true vision of cryptocurrency.
