Satoshi Nakamoto's 2009 email content revealed: He once thought that Bitcoin was easy to obtain through mining, and he did not object to its investment properties

Early Bitcoin code collaborator Martii "Sirius" Malmi has released all his email correspondence with Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto. In the emails, Nakamoto expressed some of his views and predictions about Bitcoin at the time, key points include: · Someone had offered to donate $2,000 to him, Nakamoto suggested it could be sent to Martii's address · Believed that Bitcoin was easy to obtain through mining with a home computer · Estimated that there would be up to 100,000 nodes in the Bitcoin network (currently there are about 50,000 nodes) · Predicted that the energy consumption of bitcoin mining would be lower than traditional banking systems · Expected at least one viable non-monetary use case supporting timestamp usage · Worried about legal risks associated with Bitcoin but not opposed to its investment properties. He stated he felt tired in July 2009 and said he needed "to take a break".
