SEC Chairman to meet with the Director of the Financial Supervisory Service of South Korea in May to discuss NFTs and Bitcoin spot ETFs

According to local media reports, Gary Gensler, Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and Lee Bok-hyun, Director of the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) in South Korea, are scheduled to hold a meeting in about three months to discuss Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs).
The report stated that the discussion will focus on whether South Korea should "not only allow Bitcoin spot ETFs but also include NFTs in the virtual asset field."
