U.S. DOJ Official Says Nearly $1 Billion in Bitcoin Transferred for Legitimate Law Enforcement Purposes
Coindesk sources say US Department of Justice officials have confirmed the transfer of nearly $1 billion in bitcoin for legitimate law enforcement purposes. This comes after crypto wallets labeled as the U.S. government transferred nearly $1 billion in bitcoin seized from Bitfinex hackers in four transactions in less than two hours.
