Bitget daily contract information: The open interest of BTC and ETH futures contracts has slightly increased, while the trading volume has significantly decreased
On March 8th, the open interest of Bitcoin and Ethereum contracts both slightly increased, but the trading volume significantly decreased. The balanced long/short ratio was maintained, with more short liquidations than long liquidations.
For BTC contracts, the total open interest for BTC was $31.35 billion (+1.92%), 24-hour trading volume was $73.69 billion (-43.99%), and 24-hour liquidation amounts were $15.15 million for long positions and $28.13 million for short positions, with a long/short ratio of 50.35%/49.65% and funding rate of 0.0331%.
Regarding ETH contracts, the total open interest for ETH was $13.13 billion (+3.21%), 24-hour trading volume was $37.89 billion (-40%), and 24-hour liquidation amounts were $16.32 million for long positions and $25..53 million for short positions, with a long/short ratio of 51.85%/48.15% and funding rate of 0.0474%.
The top three tokens with the highest increase in open interest are XEC: +$16.12K (+141.46%), RUNE: +$121.31M (+92.89%), PHB: +$46.,79M (+85.42%).
