The Oklahoma State Legislature passed a bill yesterday to protect Bitcoin rights
Golden Finance reports that mining company Hiveon posted on social media saying that yesterday, the Oklahoma State Legislature passed a bill aimed at protecting Bitcoin rights with a vote of 81:1. This is the result of efforts by DennisPorter, Satoshi Action Fund and Oklahoma Bitcoin Association. The rights bill includes: mining, buying and selling bitcoin, self-custody and running nodes; the bill has been passed by the Senate and signed by the governor. The "Mining Rights" bill had previously been passed in Montana and Missouri in 2023.
