On April 1st, Tron requested the dismissal of a lawsuit by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), stating that it has no jurisdiction over "digital assets sold to foreign users on a global platform". Tron stated that the token sales were "completely overseas" and the measures were taken to avoid the US market. The SEC did not accuse them of "initially selling or marketing to any US residents" and did not identify any victims.
