The three major U.S. stock indexes collectively opened higher
The Dow opened up 0.55%, the Nasdaq rose 0.87%, and the S&P 500 rose 0.62%. Star technology stocks Meta Platforms rose 1.91%, Nvidia rose 1.62%, and Super Micro Corporation rose 1.19%. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index rose 0.45%, JD.com rose 1.77%, and NIO rose 1.34%.
