The Solana node validator Firedancer client is in the final stages of integration and will soon undergo comprehensive testing

On May 1st, Solana node validator Firedancer engineer cantelopepeel.eth posted that the final integration of the Firedancer client is progressing smoothly. He added that there is still a lot of work to be done, but the first comprehensive test is coming soon. At the end of October last year, at Solana's annual community summit Breakpoint, the Solana Foundation officially announced that Solana's second node validator Firedancer had successfully launched on the testnet. The development of Firedancer was completed by JumpCrypto with the aim of enhancing diversity in node clients, improving stability of the Solana blockchain, and further increasing its resilience and resistance to attacks. Compared to Solana's first client, Firedancer was developed using C/C++ language which not only improves compatibility and memory efficiency but also helps reduce costs for running Solana nodes.
