Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego suggests buying Bitcoin to prevent the depreciation of fiat currency. It is reported that in 2021, Salinas Pliego described Bitcoin as having "extraordinary characteristics" and referred to it as the "gold of the modern world".
