Global Ether ETPs Outperformed Bitcoin ETPs Over the Past Week
Global ethereum exchange-traded products (ETPs) outperformed bitcoin ETPs over the past week ahead of the expected launch of the first U.S.-based ethereum spot ETF on July 2. The data showed four consecutive weeks of net inflows into ethereum ETPs, totaling 86,472 ETH, compared to net outflows of 12,523 BTC from bitcoin ETPs.Bitwise's chief investment officer Matt Hougan noted that investors should consider diversifying their allocations and adding ethereum spot ETFs to capture more blockchain use cases. Eight firms, including BlackRock and Fidelity, are expected to push the listing application for the Ether Spot ETF through final approval.
