Turkish exchange BtcTurk suffers cyberattack, suspends cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals

Odaily News Turkish cryptocurrency exchange BtcTurk issued a notice stating that the platform was attacked by a cyber attack on June 22. The attack affected some balances in the hot wallets of 10 cryptocurrencies, but most of the assets were stored in safe cold wallets. BtcTurk said that its financial strength is sufficient to cover the loss and user assets will not be affected. As a precautionary measure, BtcTurk has suspended deposits and withdrawals of all cryptocurrencies, and the team is conducting a detailed investigation.
