Bhutan Has 13,011 BTC Worth Over $750 Million
Bhutan is the fourth largest government holding Bitcoin on our platform, with 13,011 Bitcoins worth approximately $780.49 million,’ Arkham said on X. Unlike most governments, Bhutan's BTC comes not from law enforcement asset seizures, but from bitcoin mining operations, which have increased dramatically since early 2023.’
