Cynthia Lummis Announces at Bitcoin Conference 2025 that the US Will Introduce BITCOIN Act to Establish Strategic Reserve

Lummis noted that the White House currently has a dedicated digital asset team covering topics such as bitcoin reserves, stablecoins, and market structure regulation. She mentioned that 30 states have already discussed local strategic reserve proposals, with states like Texas and New Hampshire having passed relevant legislation. Fellow Senator Marsha Blackburn emphasized that the U.S. should take the lead globally, while Jim Justice pointed out that the widespread adoption of daily payments will accelerate legislative progress.
