Odaily Planet Daily News: Dallas Fed President Logan stated on Monday that with the labor market stabilizing, inflation slightly above target, and an uncertain outlook, the Federal Reserve is closely monitoring a range of data to determine what actions might be necessary and when to take them. Logan said at a banking conference, "Monetary policy is well-positioned to allow us to patiently wait and observe the data, as we know we have the ability to act if there is a substantial change in risks on either side. Our job is to ensure that a one-time increase in price levels does not become a persistent inflation problem." (Jin10)
