Goldman Sachs: July CPI Data Meets Expectations, Focus Shifts to Labor Market
According to ChainCatcher, citing Jinshi News, Alexandra Wilson-Elizondo, Global Co-Chief Investment Officer of Multi-Asset Solutions at Goldman Sachs, stated that the July CPI data met expectations, with core inflation rising 3.1% year-on-year. Going forward, the focus will shift more toward employment, and the inflation report supports expectations that the Fed may implement a “precautionary” rate cut in September.
