Satoshi Nakamoto to invest $30 million in Metaplanet, marking his largest single investment and first entry into the Asian market
According to ChainCatcher, citing PANews and company announcements, Nakamoto has pledged to invest $30 million in the Japanese Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet. This funding is part of Metaplanet's international stock financing announced on the same day, with the funds expected to be delivered on September 16 and the issuance and delivery of common shares on September 17. Nakamoto stated that this is his largest single investment to date and also his first foray into Asia.
