Jinse Finance reported that at around 5:00 a.m. today in East 8th District (UTC+8), U.S. Secretary of State Rubio suddenly walked up to U.S. President Trump, who was holding a press conference, and whispered to him. After Rubio walked away, the media present were in an uproar. Trump then stated that Rubio had just handed him a note, saying that they were very close to reaching a Middle East agreement and that an agreement needed to be reached soon. Photos of the two whispering quickly spread on social media, as they resembled the famous photo of former U.S. President George W. Bush being informed of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. At that time, then White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card quietly told Bush at a public event at an elementary school: "A second plane has hit the second building (the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York). America is under attack." Card then immediately stepped back three steps, preventing Bush from turning around to speak with him. According to the Associated Press, Rubio's note was to request Trump's approval to post a social media message related to the Middle East agreement. The note read: "You need to approve the Truth Social post as soon as possible so you can be the first to announce the agreement."

Rare in 25 years! The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield surpasses the S&P 500 earnings yield

The 10-year US Treasury yield has surpassed 5%, making bonds more attractive relative to stocks than at any point in the past 25 years. The earnings yield of stocks, as measured by the inverse of the S&P 500’s price-to-earnings ratio, is now lower than the 10-year US Treasury yield, resulting in a clear yield suppression effect on the stock market from bonds. According to the Shiller model, the S&P 500 may outperform bonds by only about 1% annually over the next decade. The 20-year paradigm of stocks outperforming bonds has officially come to an end.
