ChainCatcher reported that David AI has completed a $50 million Series B funding round, led by Meritech, with participation from Nvidia, Alt Capital, First Round Capital, Amplify Partners, and Y Combinator.

The company focuses on designing, testing, and collecting audio datasets for AI applications, collaborating with major technology companies to improve audio and speech AI models. The funds will be used to develop the data resources needed for audio AI systems, addressing challenges in creating audio datasets related to emotion, tone, accent, and multilingual capabilities.
