FTX's fourth round of compensation is expected to begin in January 2026, with the qualification confirmation deadline possibly set for December.
Foresight News reported that FTX creditor representative Sunil tweeted that FTX's total assets before compensation are approximately $16 billion to $17 billion. Compensation of $454 million is scheduled for February 18, 2025, $5 billion for May 30, 2025, and $1.6 billion for September 30, 2025, bringing the total compensation amount to $7.1 billion. The next payment is expected in January 2026, and the deadline for eligibility confirmation may be in December, but the specific date is pending an official announcement.

According to data from the US Department of the Treasury, in the 12 months ending July this year, overseas investors made net purchases of US stocks totaling $942 billion, marking the highest rolling 12-month total since records began in 1985. The net purchases in the second quarter alone reached $426 billion, setting a new single-quarter record. Meanwhile, overseas demand for US Treasuries has noticeably cooled, with purchase volumes falling significantly. As a result, the US is facing higher costs in government debt financing.
