Trump's approval rating drops to a low point as living costs and the Epstein case spark discontent

Jinse Finance reported, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, that Trump's approval rating has dropped to 38%, the lowest level since his return to the White House, due to Americans' dissatisfaction with his handling of living costs and the investigation into Epstein. The four-day poll, which ended on Monday, was released as Trump's control over the Republican Party also showed signs of weakening. At the start of his second term, 47% of Americans approved of Trump. The nine-point decline since January brings his overall approval rating close to the lowest point of his first term, and also close to the lowest level reached by his Democratic predecessor, Biden. Biden's approval rating once fell to 35%, while Trump's first-term approval rating dropped to 33%. Only 26% of Americans said Trump was doing well in managing living costs, down from 29% earlier this month.
