Visa partners with Aquanow to expand stablecoin settlement in the CEMEA region
Foresight News reported, according to Cointelegraph, that Visa has announced a new partnership with crypto infrastructure company Aquanow to expand its stablecoin settlement business in the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEMEA) region. This collaboration will utilize approved stablecoins such as USDC for transaction settlements, aiming to reduce cross-border payment costs, decrease operational friction, and shorten settlement times. Godfrey Sullivan, Head of Products and Solutions for Visa CEMEA, stated that this move will allow institutions in the region to "experience faster and simpler settlements" and reduce reliance on traditional multi-intermediary systems.
