Hyperliquid confirms that 1.75 million HYPE tokens have been unlocked for developers and core contributors.
Foresight News reported that the Hyperliquid team confirmed that a total of 1.75 million HYPE tokens were unlocked for developers and core contributors on Saturday, with a current value exceeding $60.4 million. Hyperliquid developer iliensinc stated that this unlocking is part of a predetermined vesting schedule that had been disclosed in advance. For comparison, approximately 270 million tokens will be fully unlocked by November 29, 2024, which, based on today’s market value, is about $9.5 billion. Hyperliquid has never conducted external financing, so there is no investor unlock selling pressure.
