Former Uniswap Head of Policy Lindsay Fraser to Become Chief Policy Officer of the Blockchain Association in the United States

Foresight News reported, according to CoinDesk, that the Blockchain Association in the United States will appoint Lindsay Fraser from Uniswap Labs as Chief Policy Officer. Fraser previously led DeFi policy affairs at Uniswap and stated that this experience will directly help her advance related policy discussions within the association. She will assume the position on December 8, the same day the Blockchain Association will hold its annual policy summit in Washington, featuring guests such as U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Paul Atkins, Comptroller of the Currency Jonathan Gould, and Senate Republican Leader John Thune.

The association currently has 146 member institutions and is focusing on the digital asset market structure bill being negotiated in the Senate, the implementation of stablecoin legislation established this year, and the future direction of U.S. crypto tax policy.
