OpenAI: Over 800 million weekly active users, more than 1 million enterprises pay for enterprise-level AI products

Foresight News reported that OpenAI's Enterprise AI Status Report shows that weekly active users have exceeded 800 million, with over 1 million enterprises paying for enterprise-level AI products. The number of paid seats (i.e., employee users) for ChatGPT workplace products has reached 7 million. In terms of message volume, the United States, Germany, and Japan are the most active markets for commercial customers using ChatGPT. From an industry perspective, the median increase in AI usage across various industries over the past 12 months has exceeded 6 times.


OpenAI stated that AI is breaking traditional job boundaries. 75% of employees have used AI to accomplish tasks they were previously unable to handle, including code review, spreadsheet automation, and technical tool development. In the past six months, aside from engineering, IT, and research departments, the average volume of code-related messages in other functions has increased by 36%.
