BlockBeats News, December 19, According to official sources, Japan's Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet's American Depositary Receipt (ADR) will begin trading in the United States on December 19, with the stock code MPJPY.
An American Depositary Receipt is a financial instrument issued by a U.S. bank representing shares of a foreign company (such as a Japanese or European company). Investors can buy and sell these foreign stocks on the U.S. stock market through ADRs without needing to trade directly on a foreign exchange.
