Hilbert Group has acquired the high-frequency trading platform Enigma Nordic for $32 million, obtaining Enigma’s proprietary trading system and market-neutral strategies. The deal includes performance-based earn-out payments, conditional on Enigma’s strategies generating $40 million in net income. This acquisition will help Hilbert offer systematic crypto products to institutional investors and plans to integrate Enigma’s platform into Hilbert’s hedge funds.
