U.S. stocks will close early on Wednesday, and EIA data will be postponed until next week.
According to Odaily, due to the Christmas holiday, the US stock market will close early at 02:00 (GMT+8) on Wednesday, December 25, and will be closed for the entire day on Thursday. Trading of precious metals, energy, forex, and stock index futures contracts under CME, as well as Brent crude oil futures contracts under the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), will also end early today. In addition, Trump has signed an executive order granting a three-day holiday for US federal government agencies from December 24 to December 26. As a result, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) will postpone the release of this week's crude oil and natural gas inventory data to 23:30 on December 29 (next Monday) and 01:00 on December 30 (next Tuesday), respectively.
