ChainCatcher news, according to a report by CoinDesk, Circle stated that the previously released press release about a platform called “CircleMetals,” which claimed to offer USDC exchange services with so-called tokenized gold (GLDC) and silver (SILC), is not true. The press release used the Circle brand and quoted executives including CEO Jeremy Allaire, but a Circle spokesperson said the content “is not genuine.”
