Last week, publicly listed companies worldwide made a net purchase of $121 million in BTC; Strategy spent $109 million to acquire 1,229 bitcoins.
According to SoSoValue data, as of December 29, 2025, Eastern Time, the total net weekly bitcoin purchases by global listed companies (excluding mining companies) reached $121 million last week.
Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) announced on December 29 that it had invested $109 million to acquire an additional 1,229 bitcoins at a price of $88,568 each, bringing its total holdings to 672,497 bitcoins.
Japanese listed company Metaplanet did not purchase any bitcoin last week.
In addition, one other company purchased bitcoin last week. Japanese fashion company ANAP made two bitcoin purchases: on December 24, it invested $1.74 million to acquire 18.4 bitcoins at a price of $94,455 each; on December 25, it invested $10.42 million to acquire 109.4 bitcoins at a price of $95,255.4 each, bringing its total holdings to 1,346.5778 bitcoins.
As of press time, the total bitcoin holdings of the global listed companies (excluding mining companies) included in the statistics amount to 918,110 bitcoins, with a current market value of approximately $8.023 billions, accounting for 4.60% of bitcoin's circulating market capitalization.
