The "ultimate bear" who previously focused on shorting BTC has opened a new short position on LIT, betting against Lighter (LIT) at an average price of $2.95.
BlockBeats News, on December 30, according to Coinbob Hot Address Monitor, the "Ultimate Bear" whale has opened a new LIT short position at around $3.03. The current position size is 31,000 LIT (approximately $87,000), with an average price of about $2.95 and a liquidation price at $4.75. This position has already achieved a small unrealized profit. In addition, there is still a pending order for 10,000 LIT shorts (around $3.06) that has not yet been filled.
Meanwhile, this address still holds BTC short positions worth about $43.68 million, with an unrealized profit of $12.05 million (552%), an average price of $111,500, and a liquidation price of $102,400.
Since November, this address has executed similar profit-taking operations at local lows five consecutive times, without replenishing the short positions. Compared to its peak position of $136 million at the end of October, its BTC short position has cumulatively decreased by about $93 million, with approximately $57 million closed this month. Previously, it was the largest on-chain BTC short whale.
