UK Plans to Implement Comprehensive Regulatory Framework for Crypto Assets
ChainCatcher reported that the United Kingdom plans to bring crypto assets under the scope of financial services regulation by October 2027. HM Treasury submitted the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Cryptoassets) Regulations 2025 to Parliament in December 2025, aiming to formally authorize activities such as operating trading platforms, custody, staking, and lending.
