In 2025, NFT supply will increase to approximately 1.34 billions, with annual sales declining by 37%
Foresight News reported, citing Cointelegraph, that the NFT market in 2025 is experiencing a surge in supply but a significant decline in sales. This year, the total NFT supply has increased to over 1.34 billion, up 25% from 1 billion in 2024, and about 34 times higher than the 38 million in 2021.
Meanwhile, NFT sales in 2025 are approximately $5.63 billion, down about 37% from last year's $8.9 billion; the average sale price has also dropped from $124 to $96, far below the average of over $400 in 2021 and 2022. In addition, the total market capitalization of the NFT market has shrunk significantly from about $9.2 billion in January 2025 to only about $2.4 billion by the end of the year.
