Foresight News reported, according to Jinse Finance, that in 2025, global family offices are shifting from “experimental attempts” to “structural allocation” of crypto assets. A survey by Bank of New York Mellon in October showed that 74% of family offices have already allocated or are exploring cryptocurrencies, an increase of 21% compared to last year.

In specific cases, Hong Kong’s VMS invested $10 million in the hedge fund Re7; Maelstrom, under Arthur Hayes, plans to raise $250 million to establish a crypto PE fund. Although Hayes predicts that bitcoin will reach $200,000 by the end of Q1 2026, the impact of approximately $1.9 billion in liquidated positions and a $1 trillion market cap shrinkage in October is still ongoing. Due to extreme volatility, some family offices are taking a cautious stance towards 2026, and some analysts are even bearish, predicting a drop to $10,000.
