Libya's total crude oil production to exceed 500 million barrels in 2025

According to Golden Ten Data on January 2, local time on January 1, the National Oil Corporation of Libya issued a statement saying that Libya's total crude oil production in 2025 will be 501 million barrels, with an average daily crude oil output of 1.374 million barrels, both reaching the highest levels in the past decade. The statement said that Libya's oil revenue in 2025 will be $21.9 billion, an increase of 15% compared to the previous year. The revenue includes royalties, franchise contract taxes, and more. Libya is one of Africa's largest oil producers and a member of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). Oil and natural gas exports are Libya's main sources of income. However, since the overthrow of the Gaddafi regime in 2011, the country has been plagued by conflict and political turmoil.
