Gunfire and explosions reported near the Venezuelan presidential palace
According to Odaily, citing Venezuelan media reports, on the evening of January 5 local time, intensive gunfire and explosions were heard in downtown Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, including areas near the presidential palace. There were also reports of possible drone or aircraft noises, triggering the activation of air defense systems. Power outages have occurred in some areas.
