White House: Corporate executives eager to invest in Venezuelan oil
According to Odaily, White House Press Secretary Levitt stated that as the United States and Venezuela's interim government are negotiating a potential agreement, the private sector has shown strong interest in Venezuela's oil industry. "The private sector is actively engaged at the moment," Levitt said, noting that Energy Secretary Wright is leading this effort. "Secretary Wright met with some oil company executives in Florida today, and they will also visit the White House later this week." Levitt emphasized that the administration has full confidence in Secretary Wright's leadership in the negotiations, saying, "They are eager to seize these opportunities."
