The Digital Yuan App launches the "Carbon Inclusive" mini program, supporting the exchange of points for digital yuan.
Foresight News reported that the Digital RMB Operation and Management Center has launched the "Carbon Inclusive" mini program service within the Digital RMB App, with Shanghai being the first region to go live. After activating this service, users can automatically accumulate carbon points in their "Carbon Inclusive" account through green and low-carbon activities such as taking the subway, bus, or riding shared bicycles, and these points can be exchanged for digital RMB.
The first batch of platforms integrated with this mini program includes Metro Dadu (Shanghai Metro), Hello Chuxing, and T3 Chuxing. After linking their accounts from the above platforms within the Digital RMB App, the system will automatically record low-carbon activities and accumulate points. Before redeeming, users need to activate a digital RMB wallet and upgrade it to a verified wallet.
