Analyst: Core CPI monthly rate at 0.2% is below expectations, no rebound observed
According to ChainCatcher, citing Jinse Finance, market analyst Chris Anstey stated that considering the previously low data in October and November, which was suspected to be due to measurement errors, a price rebound was originally expected in December. Therefore, the 0.2% core CPI monthly rate appears much more moderate. Among 73 economists, only 11 predicted that the core CPI monthly rate would reach 0.2%, making this result a surprise to the vast majority of economists.
