ChainCatcher News, according to a report by Hong Kong Wen Wei Po, a 32-year-old Hong Kong man reportedly lost about 10 million yuan due to failed cryptocurrency investments and died by jumping from a building in front of his father after returning to Hong Kong from the UK the day before yesterday.

According to reports, the man held a master's degree and was pursuing a second master's degree. He developed a mental illness and required regular medication after losing his job during the pandemic in 2022. Last September, he went to the UK for further studies. Recently, he had shown emotional instability when contacting his father, and returned to Hong Kong for medical treatment at the urging of his family.
