PANews reported on January 16 that the open-source AI platform Sentient has released an overview of its tokenomics. The total supply of SENT tokens is 34,359,738,368, with the initial allocation divided by percentage of total supply as follows: community allocation accounts for 65.55% (of which community activities and airdrops account for 44.0%, ecosystem and R&D account for 19.55%, and public sale accounts for 2.0%), team allocation is 22.0%, and investors account for 12.45%. For the community incentives and airdrop portion, 30% will be unlocked at TGE, with the remaining 70% released linearly over four years.

The early circulating supply will mainly consist of allocations to the community, ecosystem, and public sale, while allocations to the team and investors will be unlocked later and vested gradually over several years. The annual emission rate is set at 2%, which will be emitted to a dedicated community emission pool. This pool is part of a broader community initiative and airdrop distribution system, used to reward users participating in the GRID project or protocol incentive programs throughout the year. At the end of the year, any unused amount in the emission pool will be locked and 2% of funds will be reallocated for the following year.

The fund has reduced its positions to a "very minimal" level. According to system modeling through 2028, the upside potential for assets such as chips and data centers is now very limited and faces risks of financing and construction delays. Bridgewater's strategic focus has shifted to AI disruption and application sectors.

Korean media: Delivery times for key semiconductor equipment components have more than doubled

According to reports, there is a severe shortage of core components for semiconductor equipment in South Korea. Delivery cycles have generally doubled, and waiting times for some Japanese-made parts are as long as 40 months, with components unavailable even at a premium price. Japanese suppliers are cautious about expanding production capacity, resulting in serious delays that have impacted downstream businesses. Major construction projects like Samsung’s Pyeongtaek and SK Hynix’s Yongin face the risk of postponement, with AI chip expansion plans running into a “hard wall” in the supply chain.
