Spot Gold Surges Above $4700 to Hit New All-Time High, "Largest On-Chain Gold Long" Profit Hits $500,000

BlockBeats News, January 20th, according to Coinbob Popular Address Monitor data, influenced by the recent continuous rise in gold prices and today's breakthrough of $4700 to hit a new all-time high, whales on Hyperliquid who went long on PAXG (on-chain gold) all recorded significant unrealized gains. Among them, the "largest long position in on-chain gold" whale added to its position on January 2nd by opening a 5x leveraged long position on PAXG at an average price of $4415, with a position size of approximately $7.12 million, currently having an unrealized gain of $500,000 (approximately 27%) and is now the largest long in on-chain PAXG.


Furthermore, the second-largest long in PAXG, the "heavy long in precious metals" whale (0x271), followed suit on January 5th by opening a position with 10x leverage simultaneously longing PAXG and GOLD (gold mapping contract), with a combined position size of approximately $4.7 million, with a total unrealized gain of around $280,000 (50%).
