Hungarian regulators temporarily block the domain and subdomains of the prediction market Polymarket
Jinse Finance reported that the Hungarian regulatory authority, Szabályozott Tevékenységek Felügyeleti Hatósága, has announced the temporary blocking of the domain and subdomains of the prediction market Polymarket, citing that "organizing gambling activities constitutes illegal behavior." It is reported that this restriction will remain in place until the regulator completes its review. Users have reported that it is currently impossible to access the Polymarket platform using Hungarian IP addresses, and the platform now displays a warning message from the country's regulatory authority.
