U.S. Bancorp Q4 revenue hits record $7.37 billion, net profit up over 23% year-on-year

Glonghui, January 20th|U.S. Bancorp announced its fourth quarter results, with total revenue increasing by 5.1% year-on-year to a record $7.37 billion; net profit rose by 23.5% year-on-year to $2.05 billion, or $1.26 per share. During the period, net interest income grew by 3.3% year-on-year to $4.28 billion. In addition, the bank plans to acquire brokerage firm BTIG for up to $1 billion, which will enhance its advisory capabilities in equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
