Zelenskyy criticizes a ‘directionless’ Europe for attempting to ‘influence’ Trump instead of addressing worldwide dangers
Zelenskyy Criticizes Europe’s Response at Davos
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has sharply criticized European nations, claiming they appear directionless and are seeking assistance from U.S. President Donald Trump rather than coming together to defend themselves. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Zelenskyy remarked that Europe seems adrift, attempting to persuade the American president to reconsider his stance, instead of stepping up to champion global freedom—especially as U.S. priorities shift elsewhere. He added that while President Trump claims to care for Europe, he is unlikely to heed the appeals of a Europe in its current state.
