Clawdbot is powerful, but poses extremely high potential security risks; crypto users are advised to ensure proper security isolation.
BlockBeats News, January 26 — Recently, the crypto community has been actively discussing the AI agent Clawdbot. As a proactive AI assistant, Clawdbot is highly functional and can handle tasks such as emails, calendars, and flights. However, many community KOLs have reported that this tool poses significant security risks, such as prompt injection attacks that may lead to data leaks.
In response, well-known entrepreneur Rahul Sood and other KOLs have advised users to run Clawdbot on dedicated machines (or in isolated environments), use new accounts, temporary phone numbers, and independent password managers, and avoid granting backend key access permissions to reduce the risk of hacking.
Former U.S. security expert Chad Nelson warned, "Every document, email, and webpage read by Clawdbot could become an attack vector. The widespread adoption of tools like Clawdbot will completely compromise personal privacy and security."
