According to CoinWorld, Cardano's Intersect project has announced an upcoming era-internal hard fork named "van Rossem," upgrading to protocol version 11. This hard fork aims to enhance the performance of Plutus and add cryptographic features without breaking existing contracts. The upgrade process will first release a pre-release node 10.6.2 for testing, followed by the release of a mainnet-ready candidate node 10.7.0 within three weeks.
